Guidelines for International Patients
1. Appointment Registration
Outpatient services operate on an appointment-only basis. Please schedule in advance via the official WeChat account of Peking University Shenzhen Hospital (recommended) or other authorized platforms. Appointments are released daily at 5:00 PM, covering slots up to 7 days in advance. Walk-in registration is generally unavailable (exceptions apply only for urgent cases approved by physicians, scheduled at the end of morning/afternoon sessions). Emergency cases, please visit the Emergency Department.
2. Check-In
Check-in via mobile app or self-service kiosks is available no earlier than 30 minutes before your appointment time. Please avoid arriving excessively early.
3. Free Follow-Up Consultations
1)Eligibility:
- Initial consultation included tests/examinations conducted at our hospital.
- Follow-up must be within 7 days of initial visit or 3 days after receiving results (whichever is later).
- Only one free follow-up permitted, limited to the same department.
2)Exclusions:
- Pre-scheduled future tests.
- Additional tests requested during follow-up.
- Missed follow-up appointments.
3)Process:
- Same-day results: Use self-service kiosks, select "Same-Day Results," and obtain a free queue ticket.
- Delayed results with follow-up slip: Follow the date/time on the slip; select "Follow-Up Registration" at kiosks.
- Delayed results without slip: Use kiosks to select "Follow-Up Registration."
- For inquiries, visit outpatient triage desks.
4)Key Notes:
- Strictly adhere to time limits; expired follow-ups require new appointments.
- Only one free follow-up allowed. Wait in line; do not enter consultation rooms uninvited.
- Follow-ups involving new tests require standard registration.
4. Prescription Policy
Per national regulations, prescription pick-up on behalf of others is prohibited. For homebound patients (e.g., chronic pain management), video consultations are mandatory for proxy prescriptions. Use our Online Hospital for remote consultations.
5. Chronic Disease Management
Patients with chronic conditions who visited our outpatient clinic within the past 12 months may refill prescriptions via the Online Hospital (medications delivered by mail).
