The Laboratory Department of Peking University Shenzhen Hospital is a clinical laboratory that integrates medical treatment, teaching, and scientific research, and is a key discipline in Guangdong Province; It is the first medical laboratory in Shenzhen to be accredited by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) ISO 15189, and the department undertaken by the team of Academician Zhan Qimin, one of the "Three Projects". In 2021, it was awarded the honorary title of "Women's Civilization Post" in Guangdong Province.
There are currently 85 professional and technical personnel in the laboratory, including 8 PhDs, 23 masters, and 42 undergraduates; Among them, there are 32 people with senior professional titles, 30 people with intermediate professional titles, and 21 people with junior professional titles. There are over 400 existing devices with a total asset value of over 60 million yuan; We have conducted over 500 testing projects to fully meet the various needs of clinical diagnosis and treatment.
The laboratory was accredited by ISO15189 in 2015, making it the first medical laboratory in Shenzhen to be accredited by ISO15189. The lean project carried out by the Inspection Department has won multiple awards in the Municipal Quality Control Circle Competition, including two first prizes in the Guangdong Provincial Quality Control Circle Competition and one second and one third prize in the National Quality Control Circle Competition.
