The Department of Nuclear Medicine at Peking University Shenzhen Hospital was established in 1999 during its early years. It is a comprehensive department that integrates PET/CT, SPECT/CT imaging, organ function testing, and nuclear therapy. It is currently a key discipline in Guangdong Province and Shenzhen City.
The Department of Nuclear Medicine has advanced molecular diagnostic imaging equipment such as GE DMI PET/CT and Discovery NM670 SPECT/CT in China, which can carry out PET/CT and SPECT/CT examinations, nuclear medicine clinics, nuclear therapy, hyperthyroidism and thyroid cancer treatment with iodine-131. All examination and treatment items carried out in accordance with the requirements of national tertiary hospitals and Peking University Affiliated Hospital are in place; Including organ imaging, functional testing projects, clinical radionuclide therapy projects, etc.
The Department of Nuclear Medicine operates specialized clinics year-round, with an annual outpatient volume exceeding 15000 people. We mainly carry out projects such as hyperthyroidism iodine treatment, thyroid cancer iodine treatment, bone metastasis nuclear therapy, vascular tumor and scar nuclear application therapy, and particle implantation therapy, with an annual treatment volume of over 5000 people.
