At present, there are 11 full-time nursing staff, including 1 chief nurse, 3 deputy chief nurses, 5 chief nurses, and 2 nurses; One specialist nurse specializing in intravenous therapy and two international wound therapists.
The main business scope includes arterial and venous blood collection, dressing change, suture removal, intramuscular injection, intravenous injection, subcutaneous injection, skin test, nebulization inhalation, deep vein catheter maintenance, PICC catheterization, retention of mid stream urine, retention of urethral secretions, etc.
The nursing staff in the department have rich clinical experience, standardized operating procedures, and solid nursing skills. By introducing an intelligent blood collection management system, automatic docking of outpatient patient testing information, automatic calling, tube placement, and automatic transmission of blood samples have been achieved, reducing the number and time of blood collection patient queues. The wound clinic is staffed by wound therapists who work with doctors to treat various acute and chronic wounds, such as (1) acute wounds: ① acute trauma suturing wounds; ② Cut open and drain the wound; ③ Postoperative incision; ④ Other acute traumatic wounds that require outpatient treatment; ⑤ Early scar treatment, etc. (2) Chronic wounds: ① Pressure sores; ② Diabetes foot; ③ Venous ulcer; ④ Drug induced ulcer; ⑤ Wounds caused by radiation damage; ⑥ Difficult to heal wounds after surgery, etc. (3) Handling of urinary and fecal incontinence and related skin issues. (4) Change of dressing and treatment of skin problems at the puncture site of the indwelling pipeline. Opening hours: 8:00-12:00 am and 14:00-17:00 pm every day.
PICC Clinic is the first specialized nursing clinic for deep vein catheter maintenance in Shenzhen. It is staffed by vein therapy specialist nurses who have undergone standardized training and obtained training certificates. Service scope: PICC and arm type infusion port catheterization, PICC and CVC, maintenance of midline catheters and infusion ports, management and health education of postoperative complications related to PICC and infusion ports, prevention and treatment of post infusion phlebitis, infusion and injection related leakage injuries, etc. Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00-12:00 AM and 2:00-17:00 PM.
