Outpatient Consultation Guidelines

1.0 Registration and Consultation Guidelines

1.1 Appointment System: All outpatient visits require appointments. Patient can pick up their registration number no earlier than 30 minutes before their scheduled appointment. There is no need to arrive too early.

1.2 Test Results Consultation:

· For the same day: patient should collect a free number using the self-service kiosk.

· For the following day: patient should refer to the hospital's official WeChat account for follow-up visit instructions.

1.3 Late Arrival Policy:

· Missed Registration: If the patient arrive within 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment without collecting a registration number, the patient can still pick up a number at the self-service kiosk (consultation time will be moved to the next available slots, except for psychological counseling). However, this will count as a missed appointment. If the patient arrives after 30 minutes, the appointment will be canceled.

· Note: Late registration is not allowed between 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM.

· Missed Call: If the appointment time is missed, please approach the triage nurse, and the consultation will be rescheduled for 2 later slots.

2.0 Priority Consultation Guidelines

Patients need to bring relevant documents, and the triage nurse will assist with priority processing.

2.1 Veterans and Eligible Families: In accordance with the 2022 Ministry of Veterans Affairs directive (Document 2022 [49]), priority is given to:

· Veterans receiving national benefits,

· Combat veterans, veterans who participated in military trials, and veterans who returned home due to illness,

· Families of martyrs, military personnel who sacrificed on duty, and deceased veterans.

· These patients will be prioritized 5 slots ahead in the queue.

2.2 Disabled Individuals: With a valid disability certificate, patients will be moved forward by 5 slots.

2.3 Elderly Patients:

· 75 years and older: Moved forward by 2 slots.

· 80 years and older: Moved forward by 5 slots.

· 85 years and older: Given the next available slot.

2.4 Emergency Responders & Active Military: These patients will be moved forward by 5 slots.

2.5 Special Family Planning Cases: These patients will be moved forward by 5 slots.

2.6 Other Eligible Groups: Patients in other eligible categories will be moved forward by 2 slots.
